MISSION STATEMENT
Our Vision
All children deserve a quality education, but not all classrooms are created equal. Research shows that the level of quality in any early childhood classroom is determined by the teacher. Much like curtains enhance a living space and provide a covering for windows, Curtains for Classroom provides a covering for childcare programs that find it difficult to sustain a desired level quality over time and reach their long-term quality improvement goals. Our vision is to ensure that all children receive quality care and education and are prepared for school.
Our Mission
Since 2018, we've sought to make a difference in early childhood classrooms by providing resources, individualized teaching, training, coaching, mentorship, and support to administrators and teachers in underserved communities. We believe that increasing program access to quality training and assistance directly impacts the lives of the children and families in our communities. Our mission is to empower, educate, and equip early childhood professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to expose children to developmentally appropriate experiences that foster learning, encourage progress, and facilitate growth.
